High Point, NC — Certified Physician Assistant Shelby L. Stabile has joined High Point Family Practice, a Cornerstone Health Care practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the State University of New York in Oswego with cum laude honors. She was awarded a Master of Science degree in Botany with a focus in Molecular Biology/Electron Microscopy, also with cum laude honors, from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree and completed the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program at the University of Nebraska. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. Ms. Stabile served as a Physician Assistant, Captain, Army Medical Specialty Corps in the Community Based Health Care Organization at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach, VA. She also served as a Battalion Physician Assistant, 45th Infantry, at Camp Phoenix in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. She served as a US Army National Guard at the Rhode Island Army National Guard in the rank of Captain, Medical Specialty, Physician Assistant. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ms. Stabile worked as a Physician Assistant at Logistics Health, providing pre- and post-deployment physicals for soldiers returning from combat.
